1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TradeXLog ("Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TradeXLog.
2. Description of Service
TradeXLog is a cloud-based trading journal and analytics platform designed to help traders log, analyze, and improve their trading performance. Features include trade imports, performance metrics, journaling tools, chart analysis, and subscription-based access tiers (Essential and Pro).
TradeXLog is a journaling and analytical tool only. We do not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, brokerage services, or act as a registered investment advisor. Nothing on this Platform should be construed as financial or trading advice.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use TradeXLog. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. TradeXLog is available to users globally; however, you are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with local laws and regulations.
4. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in any activity that may harm the Platform or other users.
5. Subscription & Billing
TradeXLog offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected at checkout. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
- Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' prior notice.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other users' accounts.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform.
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform without prior written consent.
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
- Resell or sublicense your access to the Platform.
- Use the Platform to harass, abuse, or harm others.
7. Your Data & Content
You retain full ownership of all trade data, notes, and content you upload or create on the Platform ("User Content"). By using TradeXLog, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
We do not sell, share, or use your trade data for advertising or any purpose outside of delivering the Platform's core functionality. You are responsible for ensuring your data imports comply with any applicable brokerage or third-party terms.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, design, code, logos, and materials on the Platform — excluding User Content — are the exclusive property of TradeXLog and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
9. Trading Risk Disclaimer
Trading financial instruments including stocks, futures, forex, and derivatives involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Past performance is not indicative of future results. TradeXLog does not guarantee profitability or accuracy of any analytics displayed on the Platform. You trade at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeXLog and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to trading losses, data loss, or service interruptions.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to TradeXLog in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we deem harmful to the Platform or its users. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
